Thanks to an episode of Sex and the City that I saw years ago in which Carrie and Samantha gave Miranda a diaper cake, I thought "I could do that", and the rest is history. I've made quite a few cakes over the past several years, and even ventured into making retirement and Christmas cakes. I would like to turn a fun hobby into a side-business out of my home.
Diaper Cake
A wonderful gift for an expectant mom! Filled with diapers, bottles, lotion, wipes, shampoo, diaper cream, burp cloths, onesies and more.
Retirement Cake
This is great as a funny gift for someone who is retiring. Filled with cliche "old-people" items, such as adult diapers, hemorrhoid cream, various vitamins, calcium chews, estrogen pills and many other things, it is sure to get a few laughs (and maybe a few thank you's too!)
Christmas Cake
This was used for the centerpiece at Christmas party where the theme was "Christmas Kitchen". Christmas towels, tins, cookies, mugs, cookie cutters and candy canes scattered throughout. A special Nutcracker tops it off!
Small ceramic bread pan, two Christmas plates, towel, ornament, candy canes, tea and hot chocolate, hand soap, candies and cupcake baking cups.
Perfect for Baby showers, Retirement parties, Holidays, and even Birthdays, every cake can be completely customized to fit your specific needs. Suggestions for new designs and new cakes to create are appreciated!!! I usually make cakes with four layers of items, and a topper that would count as the fifth layer. The fine print:
Please give two weeks from the day your order is confirmed for your cake to be ready, but more time may be necessary if your cake is seasonally based and items may be hard to find (i.e. Christmas, Halloween, etc.). Rushed orders are possible for an additional fee, but again, it depends on seasonally based items as to when your cake can be ready. Delivery is available within 25 miles of Vista, CA 92081. Outside of 25 miles, delivery is available for an additional fee of $1.00/mile . Shipping is not currently available. Pickup is also available.
